How much money can I make?

"How much can I make?"  This is a common question when someone joins SFI, and a fair question as well.  After all, you wouldn't take a job without first finding out how much you'd be paid, right?
So how much CAN you make as an SFI affiliate?
According to Entrepreneur magazine, the average home-based business household earns $50,250 a year. And about 20% of all home-business households earn in excess of $75,000 a year.  And in some countries (such as the United States) there are the tax benefits, too; even if your home business isn’t generating a profit yet, it can put $5,000 or more into your pocket through tax write-offs (check with your accountant).
Speaking of entrepreneurs, this is an area where you truly must think like an entrepreneur and not like an employee.
In short, you’ll get out of SFI what you put into it. It works...if you do. But that’s the beauty of it, too; you are in control–it’s up to you how far you take it. And don’t forget, SFI offers the opportunity to earn residual income. Double that penny!

Matching Versa Points

Matching VP (Matching Profit Sharing)

As you learned in our lesson on PROFIT SHARING, for each VersaPoint you accumulate during the month, you will receive one share of the month's TripleClicks Executive Pool (provided you attain a minimum of 1500 VP during the month).  The more VP you score, the more shares you will directly earn from the pool (see your TO DO list for a complete list of available actions that earn you VP).
But you can earn even more shares by becoming a Team Leader.  By learning to lead and grow a TEAM of active SFI affiliates, you'll turn on one of the most lucrative components of the SFI compensation plan, that we call MATCHING VP.

Here's how it works:

• As a Bronze Team Leader, you'll earn matching VP on all EA2s in your team within 6 generations (and on all your EA2 CSAs too)
• As a Silver Team Leader, you'll earn matching VP on all EA2s in your team within 8 generations (and on all your EA2 CSAs too)
• As a Gold Team Leader, you'll earn matching VP on all EA2s in your team within 10 generations (and on all your EA2 CSAs too)
• As a Platinum Team Leader, you'll earn matching VP on all EA2s in your team within 12 generations (and on all your EA2 CSAs too)
• As a Diamond Team Leader, you'll earn matching VP on all EA2s in your team within 12 generations (and on all your EA2 CSAs too), plus double matching VP on EA2 affiliates on your 12th generation

Matching VP Example: You are an Silver Team Leader.  The EA2s in your first 8 generations and your CSAs account for a total of 57,500 VP this month, so YOU earn a matching 57,500 shares of the TripleClicks Executive Pool.

The Key

The most important thing to understand about Matching VP is that it is the powerful LEVERAGED INCOME component of our compensation plan, one of the two most important elements for building wealth, as explained in this LaunchPad lesson.  So, as a Team Leader, one of the things you'll most want to do is help all of your members score lots of VP every month...because for every VP they score, YOU will earn another share of the TripleClicks Executive Pool.  The higher they go, the higher YOU go!
But it goes much farther.  That is, every month you can earn matching profit shares on every affiliate you sponsor.  But you can also earn matching profit shares on every affiliate THEY sponsor...and that THEY sponsor...and so on...down a full 12 total generations on your team.  Indeed, many of our affiliates earn thousands of matching shares, some hundreds of thousands of matching shares, each month on the activities of hundreds of affiliates within their 12-generation team!

How to grow your Matching Shares

Whenever you refer someone to SFI, you become their "Sponsor."  As their sponsor, help them get started.  Teach them, encourage them, and cheer them on! Soon they will be scoring VersaPoints and sponsoring their own affiliates and adding generations of even more affiliates to your team!  As this "duplication" continues month after month, your earnings can grow exponentially as you begin earning thousands of additional profit shares.

TIP: A good way to get your team members to score a lot of VP is to "lead by example" and score a lot of VP yourself.  How will they know you're racking up copious amounts of VP?  Your badges on your Leadership Page, your position on the VP Leaderboard, etc. tell the story.

Marketing = Money

By now, you've probably got some idea about what kind of marketing you'll be doing with SFI, but we'd like to break it down a bit more because it's such an important element of your new business. Indeed, it's the marketing you'll be doing that's going to generate the money you'll be depositing in your bank account!
First, let's look at what we know.  We know that:
A. You're going to want to refer TC members.
B. You're going to want to sponsor SFI affiliates.
You can do these activities one at a time, or you can do both at the same time, but you'll ultimately want to become a "master marketer" in both.
Now, you might think that mastering something you probably know little about is pretty far-fetched, but it's really not.  We have thousands of SFI affiliates of all ages and backgrounds who started just like you—people who didn't know the first thing about marketing but who now can generate enrollments and sales with two arms tied behind their backs–so to speak.  YOU can become just as proficient.  All you have to do is get started and keep working at it.
So how do you get started?  Well, thanks to SFI's amazing system, you can actually be on your way with your first marketing campaign(s)—in less than 30 minutes!

But let's not discount what you just did either!  Getting started is the key.  Once you've gotten started, you've overcome the "inertia" that keeps most people stuck in dead-end lives, and that's BIG.

Entrepreneur365 contest

Entrepreneur365 (E365) is a fun and exciting SFI contest that gives you great goals to shoot for during your first year in SFI.
The objective: Score the most VersaPoints (VP) in your class during this 365-day period.
While you're competing in E365, you'll also have the opportunity to win a share of OVER $1,000,000 in cash and prizes!

How it works

In the E365 contest, you compete for the most accumulated VersaPoints with every other SFI affiliate who joined SFI the same day you did. The idea is to outlast them all and, on your 365th day in SFI, be named the champion of your class—an Entrepreneur365 Champion!
As an E365 Champion, you'll receive:

• Special corporate recognition
• Income-boosting Co-Sponsored Affiliates (CSA) every month
• A spot on the E365 "Hall of Fame" Website and bragging rights for your class
• A handsome plaque for your office wall to commemorate your achievement

For each of your days as an E365 contestant ("Challenger"), you'll ALSO have the opportunity to win cash and prizes in our E365 Daily Drawing. Drawings are daily random drawings for all qualified contestants from your class (and all other classes still within their first 365 days in SFI).
E365 also features a MONTHLY contest with even more recognition and prizes. How to enter

There are no purchase requirements to participate in the E365 contest. Just complete the following six actions within your first 365 days in SFI to automatically enter the contest:

1. Verify your email address (earn an additional $10 Signing Bonus + 150 VP)
2. Whitelist the email addresses of SFI and upline members  (earn an additional $10 Signing Bonus + 100 VP)
3. Complete your Affiliate Profile Basics  (earn an additional $10 Signing Bonus + 75 VP)
4. Upload your account photo  (earn an additional $10 Signing Bonus + 35 VP)
5. Send your commitment letter to your sponsor  (earn an additional $20 Signing Bonus + 50 VP)
6. Attain the rank of EA (Executive Affiliate)  (earn an additional $20 Signing Bonus)

TIP: Step 6 requires advancing to the rank of EA with 1500 VP.  Note that if you're in your first month and do not collect 1500 VP by the end of the month, you can transfer all of your VP to the subsequent month.

Combined with the $20 Signing Bonus added to your account when you signed up for SFI, you increase your total Signing Bonus account to $100 just by getting entered in the E365 contest!
